Carpooling

Carpooling ("covoiturage" in French) is the sharing of a private car for a common journey.

What's the advantage?

Every driver who becomes a passenger saves money and reduces traffic congestion.

How does it work?

Either the driver and passenger know each other from family or work and agree to make the journey together, or strangers are put in touch by a carpooling portal to which each has previously communicated their journeys.

How much does it cost?

The driver and passenger agree on a price to share the cost of the journey (fuel, parking, etc.).
