Interchange hubs

Interchange hubs are part of multimodality, which means combining several modes of transport for the same journey.

Thus, while combining walking and lifts, travellers can travel from bicycle to car (individually or carpooling or even carsharing), bus, train, funicular, tram and plane.

These multimodal journeys are made possible by the various interchange hubs that are already in operation or are under construction/planning phase.

In addition to the interchange hubs, P+R (Park and Ride) parkings also play an important role in multimodality.
