Lines

Buses serve most of Luxembourg territory.

There are 3 categories of bus lines:

• urban lines in Luxembourg-city and in the South region (AVL busses, TICE);
• regional lines connecting different localities in the country (RGTR busses, CFL busses);
• cross-border lines (RGTR).

There are also occasional services and specific services for people with reduced mobility (PMR).

Free

Since 1 March 2020, public transport in Luxembourg is free of charge throughout the Grand Duchy, whether by bus, train (except 1^st class) or tram.

This measure applies to residents, cross-border workers and tourists.

There is a price reduction for season tickets on cross-border lines.
