Planning Observation, strategy and planning of mobility

At the level of the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works (MMTP), mobility planning is based on three pillars.

• Observation is used to understand current mobility behaviour, people's mobility needs and to project future needs.
• The mobility strategy is developed on the basis of these observations on the one hand and the government's priorities on the other.
• Finally, planning tools enable the four mobility players (State, Municipalities, Employers and Citizens) to implement the strategy.
