Active mobility

Since 2005, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has been actively participating in the European Mobility Week, which takes place every year from 16 to 22 September.

The aim of this annual action is to raise awareness of sustainable mobility and to improve the health and quality of life of residents.

To this end, the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works encourages local authorities to introduce and promote sustainable transport measures that invite their citizens to try alternatives to the car.
