Cycle paths and routes

By the law of July 6, 1999 establishing a national network of cycle paths, the Public Works department of the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works was mandated to create a national and coherent cycle network linking the different regions. with their main centers of economic and tourist interest and ensuring a link between them of the various communal networks of cycle paths.

The national coverage of this network should ensure the consistency of efforts in this area, guarantee a uniform and high standard of these tracks and above all allow the municipal authorities to join the national network, thus allowing inter-municipal interpenetration of the tracks.
