Organisation of public transport on roads

Public transport (PT) on roads, i.e. transport by bus and coach, is organised by the Public Transport Administration (ATP).

This administration, which was created by the law on public transport of 5 February 2021 (loi du 5 février 2021 sur les transports publics), began its work on 1 March 2021. It combines the competences of the Public Transport Directorate of the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works (MMTP) with those of the "Verkéiersverbond", which was previously a public body under the supervision of the MMTP.

It also includes the website (mobiliteit.lu) with its call center (phone: +352 2465-2465), which is the contact point for the public.
