  • Exceeding the speed limit:
    • >15km/h in built-up areas

  • Disregarding the right of way or a right of way sign (red traffic light, stop sign, ...)

3 The alcohol level is reduced from 0.5‰ to 0.2‰ for:

  • driving licence applicants;
  • drivers who are in the probationary period;
  • driving instructors during practical driving lessons;
  • accompanying persons in the context of accompanied driving;
  • drivers of vehicles used in express services;
  • drivers of vehicles used for the transport of dangerous goods;
  • drivers of taxis, hire cars, ambulances and breakdown lorries;
  • drivers of buses and coaches, lorries and articulated lorries;
  • drivers of all vehicles used for the paid transport of passengers;
  • and for all drivers of vehicles who have not yet reached the age of 18.
