Mobility as a service "Mobility-as-a-Service - MaaS" allows the user to choose from several options for the desired journey, informing the user of various criteria, such as:

• the transport mode;
• the journey time;
• the cost;
• the distance;
• and the environmental impact.
  

In Luxembourg, the user can get information via the multimodal real-time route planner mobiliteit.lu of the "Verkéiersverbond", which is also available as a mobile app:

• Google Play (Androïd)

In order to inform customers and employees in real time about the departure times of public transport near their location, employers or managers of a public building can install a dynamic display with the departure times of public transport in the entrance area of their building.

After the display with internet connection has been mounted at the owner's expense, the "Verkéiersverbond" takes over the display of the relevant data free of charge.

Before starting a journey, a user can consult a mobility-as-a-service application. Using a real-time multimodal route planner, this application shows the user all available options for making the journey, including combining different transport modes such as:
