General principles and requirements

In order to simplify administrative procedures and facilitate faster access to the market, registration for the information event is now linked to the application for a driver card. It is therefore essential that you take into account certain elements that are essential for the smooth running of this procedure.

To submit your application, you must have a MyGuichet account and set up a professional area there.

It is important to note that currently only applicants who have an employment contract with an existing operator can submit an application. If there is no employment contract, the application will be rejected.

Please note: The information session is currently only held in French.

Application procedure

To ensure that your application is processed quickly, please read and follow the instructions below carefully:

  1. Create a MyGuichet account.
  2. In MyGuichet: Create your business eSpace.
  3. Search for the procedure "TAXI C01: Registration for the information session and obtaining the taxi driver card" (in French).
  4. Complete the form, sign it electronically and attach all the required documents. Make sure that all requested documents are legible and completed in full. For example, it is not sufficient to submit only the first page of a document. In addition, each document must be submitted as a single PDF file.
  5. The application for a driver card requires the payment of a processing fee of €50, which is non-refundable and constitutes a stamp duty. The proof of payment must include the applicant's first and last name and the registration procedure number.

The training fee for this step is €50.

The application must be finalised within two months from the date of application, otherwise it will be closed without further processing.

Once your application has been submitted, it will be processed by our services. If your file is classified as inadmissible or incomplete, you will be informed of this via a response in MyGuichet. If your application is admissible, you will receive a written invitation (+/- 10 days before the hearing) to the address you provided in your application. For information: A copy of this invitation will also be sent to your employer.

Important note: All documents submitted must be up to date, i.e. they must have been issued within one month prior to the application. If this is not the case, the documents will be returned for correction.

Issue of the driver card

The taxi driver card will be issued to the applicant as soon as possible after the information session. The Ministry will inform the employer by e-mail that the applicant has received the driver card.
